Terms of sale

These terms cover purchases from fabel.co.nz. When you place an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Pricing and currency

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable. International orders may attract additional customs or import duties on arrival — these are the buyer's responsibility.

Orders

Collection pieces are made from existing stock and ship within five business days. Bespoke and configured pieces are handcrafted to your specification and ship within four to six weeks; longer commissions are quoted case by case.

Payment

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. For larger commissions we offer a 50% deposit at order, balance on completion.

Shipping

See the shipping page for lead times and methods. Delivery dates are estimates and can shift if freight schedules change; we'll keep you updated.

Returns and the Consumer Guarantees Act

Collection pieces can be returned unused within 14 days for a refund; return shipping is at your cost. Bespoke and configured pieces are non-refundable except where they fail to comply with the CGA (e.g. a manufacturing fault, or materially different from what was agreed). If you believe a piece has a fault, write to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Guarantee

Every piece carries a lifetime structural guarantee. The patina on each finish will deepen with time — that is intentional and not a fault.

Designs, imagery, and written content on this site are the property of Fabél. Please don't reproduce them without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any dispute will be heard in the New Zealand courts.
