Privacy

Last updated: October 2026.

Fabél (based in Queenstown, Aotearoa New Zealand) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

What we collect

When you buy or enquire, we collect the information you give us — typically your name, email, phone, shipping address, and the details of your order or enquiry. When you browse, and only if you accept on the cookie banner, we collect standard analytics such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate location through Google Analytics 4, the Meta pixel and the Pinterest tag, which we also use to measure our advertising and to show our ads to people who have visited the site (on Google, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest).

Why we collect it

We use your information to fulfil your order, answer your enquiries, send occasional studio updates if you've opted in, and improve the site. We don't sell your data.

Where it's stored

Order information is stored with our payment processor (Stripe) and our hosting provider (Vercel). Both are reputable international providers with strong data-protection practices. Email sign-ups are held with our newsletter provider.

Your rights under the NZ Privacy Act 2020

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, and to request that we delete it (subject to legal record-keeping obligations). Write to hello@fabel.co.nz and we'll respond within 20 working days.

Cookies and measurement

Essential cookies run the cart and the checkout. Google Analytics 4, the Meta pixel and the Pinterest tag set their cookies only after you choose Accept on the banner; choose Decline and none of them loads. If you accept and later buy, we also send Meta and Pinterest a server-side copy of the purchase (order value, hashed email, phone and address) so advertising can be measured without relying on the browser. You can change your choice at any time with the button below; declining removes the measurement cookies on your next page load.

Changes

We'll update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top always reflects the most recent revision.
