Inside the Queenstown studio

The studio sits above the lake, tucked behind the gear shed. We built the bench ourselves, and the light is the same all day — that was the whole reason we took the lease.

Each commission starts at a sheet of paper. Dimensions, finish, what the room needs. The drawings move into Inventor, the model gets refined, and when you sign off we start cutting.

From there it's filing, sanding, and finishing — sometimes for weeks. Nothing we make leaves until it feels right in the hand.
